Event Calendar Santa Fe at Zia Diner, Swing Soleil Graces Stage 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. Aug. 28, 2014

Happy days are as good as it gets. When a cool band like Swing Soleil arrives on stage¬†and ply their wares, in this case ‘jazz manouche’ inspired by Django Reinhardt, considered by many to be the best guitar player to ever strum a six string guitar, it helps a good day be a happier one.¬† Zia Diner most months brings ‘Swing Soleil’ Santa Fe, NM’s resident gypsy jazz band in to play two times a month. Each time the band plays the notes emote and the melodies soar and it definitely makes for a good time for one and all.

Swing Soleil left to right: Zeke Severson, Alma Zazz, Patrick Longmire, Hilary Schacht, and Charlie Freeman.
