Swing Soliel, a gypsy jazz band based in Santa Fe, NM, hits the stage at the Zia Diner from 6 – 8 p.m. Thursday May 30, 2013. Jazz manouche, a very cool happy style of jazz music from the 30’s and 40’s that originated in France, is the kind of music that leave listeners smiling. A gypsy jazz band members usually consist of two acoustic guitar players, one violin player and one upright bass player. Swing Soleil is a great band with all the right parts needed for sweet gypsy jazz band.
