Jazz Manouche, music from a bygone era made famous Django Reinhardt, is the music style served up by Santa Fe, NM, band ‘Swing Soleil’, who’s set to perform at the Zia Diner from 6:30 – 8: 30 p.m. Thurs. July 10, 2014.
To say this band is fun to listen to is truly an understatement. Jazz manouche is also known as swing jazz. Dazzling violin strings, upright bass thumping and amazing acoustic guitar melodies make swing jazz one of the more enjoyable types of music. ‘Swing Soleil’ delivers the goods to Zia Diner most months every other Thursday so from most anyone’s perspective coming down to listen to this group is definitely worth the trip.
