Restaurant Santa Fe – Tequila Lime Chicken Fajitas at the Zia Diner

Fajitas have been popular at restaurants across the United States for a very long time now.  How fajitas are made by people at home or by chefs at restaurants varies as it
should because ingredients used will definitely change from kitchen to kitchen.  Fajitas are made with several types of primary ingredients including fried slices of steak, slices of chicken or shrimp.  Other primary ingredients are chopped fried vegetables including onions, red and green bell peppers and tomatoes.  Guacamole, salsa and sour cream are also included as part of the selection used to make fajitas.  Fajita ingredients are served on a large platter that includes the main ingredients like steak or chicken, fried vegetables, guacamole, sour cream and warm flour tortillas. The ingredients are combined by the diner by placing them inside a tortilla then folded in half like a taco. Once all the ingredients are in the tortilla the fajita is ready to eat. Yum!
