Santa Fe Bandstand Delivers Two Originals, The Gregg Daigle Band and The Free Range Ramblers to the Stage 6 – 8:30 p.m. Thurs. July 18, 2013

Santa Fe Bandstand presents two fantastic bands come Thursday, July 18, 2013 from 6 – 8:30 to the stage with The Gregg Daigle Band and The Free Range Ramblers. As is customary of course the Zia Dine invites everyone to come hit the company’s Zia Diner Happy Hour from 3-6 p.m. and THEN enjoy the music on the Santa Fe Plaza.

Below are some terrific descriptions of each band:

The Gregg Daigle Band: Americana. Equal parts Duane Allman and Bela Fleck.

The Free Range Ramblers: Americana. In a recent review of The Free Range Rambler’s banjo player Elise Southwick’s latest release, April Reese of KBAC Radio Free Santa Fe said “Ethereal and luminous, Elise Southwick’s Roam floats through a pastel soundscape rich with nectar-sweet vocals, migratory melodies and European imagery. These seven finely crafted tracks, enlivened with a touch of banjo, trumpet or saw (yes, saw) here and there, reveal a musical maturity that belies Southwick’s young age.” The rest of the band is equally as good.
