Santa Fe Children’s Museum — Fun for the Whole Family

A little gem in the desert — the Santa Fe Children’s Museum!  What an amazing place to take your kids or grandchildren.  Filled with hands-on things to do for toddlers to teens, this place isn’t large, but between the indoor and outdoor spaces, there seems to be an endless number of fun activities, and your kids won’t want to leave.
The Santa Fe Children’s Museum is built around the mission of teaching the joys of learning, family and community through playing and interactive exhibits in the humanities, arts and science.  There’s everything from a climbing wall for the older kids, to ever-changing art projects (including helpful staff), to outdoor hands-on water toys, learning about plants, and digging in the sand.  There’s face painting and bubbles, and always some new exhibit that encourages touching, and lets you bring your family over and over again.’
The Santa Fe Children’s Museum is open Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays 10am to 5pm, with special “Try It” Thursdays from 10am-7pm (Children are FREE from 4pm-7pm), and Sundays noon to 5pm.  This could become a happy habit for the whole family!
