Zia Diner Gypsy Jazz from Swing Soleil ( a french word pronounced So’ Lay) Is Back on Our Stage 7-26

One of the primary aspects to the Gypsy Jazz of Swing Soleil, the band scheduled to perform at the Zia Diner on a regular basis this summer , is that it’s really just plain listening fun and it puts you in a good mood. It has been stated many times over the years that guitarist Jean “Django” Reinhardt started this genre of music in the 1930’s in France. From the 1930’s to the 1950’s Gypsy Jazz, also known as “manouche jazz” was very popular and was easy to find throughout France and also from time to time in the United States. One of the guitarist in Swing Soleil is out of the country until late July so we will not have them back on our stage until 6 p.m. July 26, 2012
